Oakhurst is ‘on the build’, planning for the future. The building of the new Arts and Culture Block has began, amid much excitement, and is moving ahead at a cracking pace!

Oakhurst has recently started an Early Act group. The aim of this group is to serve the community. It is linked to the Kirstenbosch Rotary Club. In their first project the girls managed to raise R1285 for the SPCA.

The Grade 7 girls show off their skirts which they made in textile technology.

The grade 3 class entered a competition in which they had to make a map of South Africa using promotional products supplied by Art & Office. They had great fun producing this colourful, rainbow map.
The grade 7 girls entertained the school with a poetry recital in which they dramatised 8 poems from their literature syllabus.
