Eleven Oakhurst girls ranked in the top 200 maths achievers in the Horizon Maths Competition and were invited to attended the prize giving at the Baxter Theatre on 3 June.

Irene Nolte, grade 7, was awarded 3 medals. She came first in the school, 2nd in the Western Cape and 3rd in South Africa.

Kristina Laugksch, grade 6, came 23rd in the Western Cape. Grace Nadin, grade 7, came 31st in the Western Cape.

Megan Pinder was one of seven grade 5’s who ranked in the top 200. She came 144th in the Western Cape.

17 900 pupils took part in the Horizon Maths Competition this year.
