School Fees and Accounts
School Fees
The Governing Body has set the School Fees at R13 200 annually per pupil. A deposit of R1000 per child is to be paid on acceptance into the school. This deposit will be offset against the first term’s school fees.
School funds are necessary for the effective maintenance of the school and equipment needed. Teaching aids, educational and sports equipment, library books, text books, insurance of school buildings and equipment, etc are paid from these funds.
In addition to this the salaries of three full-time teachers, seven part-time teachers, various sports coaches, three cleaning staff, a librarian and bursar are met from this source.
Foundation Phase Pupils
Foundation phase pupils (Grade 1, 2 & 3) are encouraged to make an annual R900 contribution to the Oakhurst Development Trust. Parents of girls in other grades are strongly urged to make this contribution to the Development trust as well.
School Accounts
School accounts are given by hand to all pupils. Fees are due thirty days after the commencement of the term and settlement of accounts by the due date is greatly appreciated. Please send payment addressed to the bursar or school secretary. Fees may be paid monthly or quarterly during the term. A discount of 5% will be given for fees paid in full by the end of February.
