11 March Grade R, 1 and 8 applications open.
15 April Grade R, 1 and 8 applications close.
16 April - 19 May Schools Process
30 May System displays the outcome of applications
30 May - 10 June Parents informed
30 May - 17 June Parents confirm acceptance
7 June - 31 July Places are filled and parents given 3 days to accept at this point.

The WCED has initiated a compulsory online application process for the admission of learners.
Grade R

Late applications will only be considered after the Admissions Committee has dealt with the applications received through the WCED online platform.
These will only be considered if places are still available and at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
Learners applying for grade R must be turning 6 in the year of admission to Grade R.

Applications may be submitted throughout the year and will be considered by the Admission Committee only when and if a place becomes available within the grade.
Preference will be given to those pupils already admitted to Grade R at Oakhurst Girls’ Primary School at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
