Oakhurst is a fee paying public school. 

The School Governing Body has set the Annual School Fees at:

 Grade 1 - 7   R42 400

Annual Payments by 28/02/2025 R40 280 (5% discount)

Paying off over 10 months R42400 (R4 240 per month)

(February to November)

Grade R   R46 600

Annual Payments by 28/02/2025 R44 270 (5% discount)

Paying off over 10 months R46 600 (R4 660 per month)

(February to November)

School fees are compulsory for the effective operation of the school. 

The school funds are essential and are utilised but not limited for the following:

• Salaries of teachers, estate staff, sport coaches and assistants 

• Maintenance of the school and equipment

• Teaching aids

• Educational and sports equipment

• Library books

• Text books

• Insurance of school buildings and equipment

All parents are encouraged to make a voluntary contribution of R 1 500, R 3 000 or R5000 per learner to the Oakhurst Building Development Fund which offers much needed financial assistance to the school to ensure the continual improvement of facilities and educational resources at Oakhurst.  The added advantage for parents is that the contribution is tax deductible and a tax certificate will be issued to you at the end of the relevant tax year.
